How to Install Git on Mac OSX
This simple guide will show you how to install Git on Mac OSX.
Install Mac Ports
I recommend installing Git using MacPorts if you haven’t already because there are a lot of other useful packages you can install.
You can install Git using this command:

Pre-compiled installer
If you do not want to install MacPorts, you can install Git using a pre-compiled installer. Simply download and run.
