Learn how to setup a PHP7 development environment using vagrant and virtual box. This is an easy cross platform solution for trying PHP7 and it works well with PHPStorm.

Using this video you Run PHP7 alongside PHP5 without any conflicts. You can also choose to run PHP7 using docker or your local packager manager if available.
